Celebrating the Republican’s win to pass a sweeping-tax-code overhaul, U.S. President Donald Trump and supporters tweeted out their congratulations, as opponents to the bill came out swinging and tweeting via #TaxScamBill.

Trump’s Twitter feed has slowed since his former national-security adviser, Michael Flynn, pleaded guilty on Friday of lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. But Trump hopped on the social media website to applaud House and Senate Republicans for the tax bill that passed after a vote in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Only Democrats and Tennessee Republican Bob Corker voted against it.

Hours earlier, Trump sent another tweet, thanking Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Utah Republican Senator Orrin Hatch for “shepherding our bill through the Senate”:

Other Republicans also chimed in to deliver some praise, pushing back against criticism that the bill only benefits the wealthy and will strip millions of Americans of healthcare and raise taxes on just as many:

But there was plenty of noise coming from those opponents, who lashed at the bill via #GOPTaxScam and #GOPTaxScam:

“The GOP tax scam is a product of haste, carelessness and cruelty. It was written on Republicans’ trickle-down delusions, not analysis or facts. It was written first and foremost for the wealthiest 1%, not middle class families trying to get ahead,“ House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement.

Oxfam America’s policy director, Gawain Kripke, called the tax bill a “heist. Rushed through in the night without time for analysis or debate, the implications for the poorest – here and around the world- are being ignored. The repercussion will be serious and long lasting,” he said, in a statement.
